A friend of mine in Florida works on a tug boat and does some dredging in the gulf, and has come away from the boat with a few bits and pieces that SHOULD be very recognizeable to most of you, but one is more difficult than the other…let’s hear the guesses!!

I wish I came across some beautiful pieces on my dredger in the Fraser river… All I ever come across is sand, Sturgeon and silt. 🙁

Hmmmm…such overwhelming interest…maybe should go to more girlie shots like my other post ‘Warhawks and Girls’….but anyway, yes, the left pic is a Corsair canopy (my friend tells me the pieces DO go together but are not from the same plane), and the right photo is a gauge panel from an F6F Hellcat that he pulled up from the gulf….he has other bits but I have no pics of them.

Well, the left pic looks like it contains a Corsair canopy, and maybe a windscreen (although it doesn’t look like the top would marry up with the top of the canopy)?
Anything else is best left to others who know what they’re talking about… (he says, having attempted the easy one!)
