Spitfire Displays..
if anyone is up this way, the Spitfire is due to fly at East Kirkby on Sat 11th at 1500 with Lanc taxi at 1330, and also Sat 25th at 1500, with Lanc runs at 1330 and 2000.. I did ask today if they had dates for the proper winter night runs, should have a list next week…

The weather was a tad interesting today, tipping down with rain,howlign wind at one stage but luckily a bit of blue sky for ‘the Majors’ display… apparently there was a photographer there from Flypast so hopefully there’ll be some decent flying shots in the magazine sometime.

Lovely. Did the Major use his zimmer frame or a fork lift to access the cockpit………!! I am of course only joking as he is quite the fittest RAF retiree I have known.
