I was at Schiphol this morning and was alerted by the sound of two big radials that something different was happening. Looking up I watched the Dutch Catalina taking off in her new colourscheme, doing a flypast around the tower and it was last seen departing eastbound. Time was just after 9:30 local. From the view I had the MLD (Marine Luchtvaart Dienst= Dutch Naval Airforce) colours looked pretty good on her!! 🙂
Let’s see who can get the first photos of her up on the board! (I know, I already kicked myself for not having a camera with me 😮 )

Yooha! That is a nice sheme. 😎 Much better than the dark one it had before. It will fit perfectly with RNHF spitfire! I can’t wait to see her!

This weekend it is going to attend the show at Lelystad. If there isn’t a pic of it on this board by that time, several members will take one there. So a pic is definitely on the way.
