Looks like these are the first photos from a good day. I could not hang around for most of the flying so hope you didn’t catch any showers? was a very dodgy 20-25kt crosswind in the morning. One Cessna pilot must have had a ‘brown trouser’ moment on going round. One small thing the hangars were not open this year. My last visit(3 years ago) they were, just a dissapointment for us number crunchers. :rolleyes: .

I have to commend of all the displays the Grob Tutor. Totally unexpected manouvers and kept her nice and tight to the crowd. Certainly I think it
eclipsed the competition aerobatic machines.

No brown trousers here, that was a run and break, just thought I’d do it with a bit of flap!!!!!

Good to meet up with some of the usual suspects, and nice to put a couple of new faces to names too. Slightly peeved at the operators of the ‘Tornado’ fairground ride, whose noisy toy managed to cut into the memorial ceremony. Rather disrespectful, I thought. However, that for me was the only downside to the day, which was otherwise superb as ever. Hearty congrats to Dave Poile, Skybolt, and everyone else involved in organising it. Thanks guys.
