Hi
I wonder if anyone knows if the Scandinavian Historic Flight’s P-51D (N167F) and A-26B (N167B) still are going strong? As far as I know they haven’t been on any airshow in Norway (nor Scandinavia) since autumn 2002. Can anyone also confirm that they are based at North Weald?
Best regards!

The Invader on the Courtesy Aircraft site is the former Richard Nivo Dutch based example. This was sold last year and now it seems the new owner has put it up for sale again.

I heard last year that the SHF was going to be involved in a “round the world” flight with a Grumman Albatross. That might explain why they don’t figure much on the airshow circuit!

They were based at Oslo Fornebu until the airport was closed ( 😮 ), October 8th, 1998. The next couple of years Sandefjord Torp was home field for the warbirds.
I believe both of them were based at North Weald for a period, 2000-2002? I think the reason for putting them at North Weald was to have the planes closer to where ‘all’ the appropriate shows are held (reducing fuel costs etc).
Now, they are stored at different locations in Sweden. (I was told a couple of hours ago.) Anyway, thanks for your help! 🙂
