Seeing as this is topical on here at the moment I thought you might like to see these piccies I took of the Stirling down at the Spitfire and Hurricane Memorial Building, Manston.
If you look closely you can see a Stirling model and the section in red denotes where this section actually came from on the airframe.

Hi John,
That section looks great. It seems that a lot of sections are still surviving here and there. Let’s see what turns up in the near future.
