Having a brief snoop through E-bay, I found this and wondered whether anyone on the forum had built or flown models, or what their earliest memories/attempts were.

I never built one myself, but I did build a rubber-powered 1/32 foam Spitfire MkII that I got from East Fortune – flew great until it cartwheeled one day and slightly modified the wings….! 🙁

i’m working on a flying model chipmunk from a kit that looks similar to this one but at the current construction rate it’ll be finished in time for the 200th centenery of flight :0

built a ‘109 of this series several years ago, sadly got lost in a fire when it hit my neighbour’s barbeque-grill 😀
