Currently on e-bay – along with a whole lot of BoB postcards (Robert Shaw, Kenneth More, Trevor Howard) – this one has 6 days to go and is currently £0.99 – worth lots more of course 🙂 🙂

I must only point you to the film Sirens for another point towards Tara 😉
(and no, I don’t mean that kind of point! :D)
With Tara, I can’t see the point :diablo:

Some of us aren’t ageing as well as Ms York. I fear I’d be more of a disappointment to her, than she would be to me 😉

The same here mate

Hi Daz
No I was dreaming of SY and we were just talking about people as you do to break the ice before …. well you know and I was saying how I had actually met quite a few nice Pommie chaps and she said Moggy was OK and Melve was a nice chap too so there was just an intellectual fantasy conversation going on, nothing sick and then danm it I woke up before it got interesting.
Regards

Hi Moggy
No not at all SY speaks very highly of you – why only the other day she was saying what a studs you and Melve were – then i woke up………….
Regards
JP
You were dreaming of Moggy and Melv?! That’s gotta be the worst nightmare ever…!! 😉

The collective noises that reverberated around the Astra cinema on Saturday afternoon when Ms York appeared in the bedroom were somewhat amusing. I’m not sure who was to blame exactly, probably a combination of AIB, Steve P and Robbo, but I couldn’t tell as I was sitting on the back row – with my son I hasten to add!!

Hi
Like my first girlfriend, my first… etc some things are best remembered and NOT revisited.
SY probably has aged about as well as me so that would preclude unecessary slavish attendance at functions she attends – best left to teary eyed viewings of her collective works on the telly.
My first girlfriend will always be the woman of my dreams until one day I meet her in the street …………….. Ahhhhhhhhh memories
Regards

I wonder if Moggy is appreciating SY in this afternoons showing of “Sands of the Kalahari”……..
:p 😀
Nope, missed that, just as I missed the BoB at Duxford. Diary foul-up followed by nasty bug thing 🙁

Damn!
Took my eye off the ball over the weekend and missed it.
Went for just £5.50 too.

Some people have no idea of the value of stuff.

I preferred a red aeroplane with a white and blue flash on the side. Oh, a bit like this one…
😉
Always liked that colour scheme

By JB “I haven’t seen the lovely Miss York in awhile, is she still as lovely as she was in the 1969 version of 1940? ”
Edinborough Festival Aug 2003.
Still a 10 in my book.
I’ll go along with that. If she did a talk at DX I’d turn up dressed in anything she asked.

As head of the Forum SY appreciation society I insist that nobody dare bid against me or there will be big time trouble 😡

Hmm…
I’m sure if it were Kylie or Keira, Melv would swoop down in his Rearwin, but I’d prefer a flashier entrance! 😉

No, this is the one she is dreaming of 😀

I assume you mean the Edinburgh Festival? 😀
Yes quite, sorry about that had just got back from the pub and the spelling part of the brain was already asleep 😮 but (Snapper) not too far gone to be wearing the ‘beer goggles’, theres many a good tune played on an old fiddle you know 😉 your time will come mate 😀
As for the photo see how she glances up from her book and gazes whistfully to a far horizon, dreaming perhaps that her hero will once again swoop down from the blue in his gleaming white aeroplane (with the red flash on the side) and whisk her away for an afternoon of delight amongst the cloud tops.
