I personally feel the early P-40’s had a sleek uncluttered line to them which is not really apparent in the later models.

Nice photo Phil. A very nice photo indeed.
These are by no means as spectacular but I love them. RNZAF P40’s up in the Pacific (where the NZ P40’s shot down 100 Japanese aircraft) except for JZ_A which was a training P40 at home.
All the b&w ones are RNZAF Official I believe, not sure who took the coloured one.
