3. Local based aircraft (from Ursel) don’t land at their ETA not a landing ,but a taxi to the display platform.
4. this list was the situation on 25 july 2004 and could change due to the known circumstances.
This list means a major boost to the number of aircrafts attending the show. We hope to attract spectators too! 😉
I want to thank Mmitch and Papa Lima again for the help they offered to find info bout the acrosport which is attending the event.
I hope to see some of you here at Ursel during the Wings and Wheels event.
Best Wishes,
J.V.

The only group which works on Hawker Hunters in Belgium that I know of is Classic Fighters. They operate a jet provost now, but they are working on Hunterprojects as well. They are not based at Ursel. Their homedase is Weelde. Here is the link to their (still new and not jet fully completed) website:

I don’t know about any possible Hunter cocpitsection at Ursel (and if there was any, I should know it by now believe me! 😉 )
I don’t know if the Tigermoth is the new one, but here is a pic I found if it at the page of the museum of Seppe:
Cheers,

Received the tickets today Jochen. thanks! looks like the list is growing. I understand there is a ‘new” tiger moth, with G reg, now based at Seppe, Hope it is the one on the list. I remember there is/was an organisation at Ursel flying or restoring jets as the Hunter and JP. are they still there? i am especially interested in a Hunter T7 cockpit they have/had in derelict condition.

I have over a 100 helmets now, severall uniforms (LW/WH/AK & SS (M44 “erbsentarnung”)) aswell as medals and other regalia. The point is that I have now pinpoint my wishlist to German WW1 and 2, Spanish and American M-1 helmets. But on the other hand, I still lack a Belgium Adrian from WW1 and 2. Hope to get one of those at Ursel. A modern flighthelmet is also on the list, aswell as “grondvondsten”, preferably with the decals still visible. I often go to Wavre and Antwerp every beginning of the month. I heard Chiney ( or somthing named like that ) is a very good, if not the best one. If you have something to sell or exchanche, let me know.

I collect from both sides (good and bad, medals, clothes, paperwork,…). This trip may be a very expensive one for the fanatic collector! Good luck in your hunt for your helmet Roger.

I now only collect the bad guys from WW1 and 2, with a preference to the very , very , very bad organisations ( because all the thers I have). BW Roger

It might be a good place to find me some “new” helmets.
I am curious to see which one you will choose! 😀
