Excellent suggestion. The RAF website has a daily report for each day of the battle. Today’s is here. http://www.raf.mod.uk/bob1940/july10.html

We remember them all, from whatever service and whatever time, from the long ago past to the present day but if it is OK with everyone here I will try and run this on a daily basis for the next few months.
Not simply to focus our attention on a small group of people at a particular time for after all we must not forget that many on all sides made the ultimate sacrifice for what they felt was their patriotic duty and most were ordinary folk like you and I.
In the years that followed thousands paid the same price and we remember and honour them, but lets for just the next week or two pay particular attention to..”The Few”.
