hello,
I am currently working on a digital visualisation of the UH-1.
I want to rebuild the UH-1 that served in the vietnam war, as an attack heli.
Because I want this project to be as detailed as possible I started my search for detailed drawings on the internet.
However, I could not find any blueprints that were detailed enough to complete this project.
So I started mailing companies and people who could help me.
(Bell replied but could not help me).
Could you please send me some front, side and top drawings of a UH-1.
Some scans from an assembly manual,
or an exploded view of the parts of the huey would be even better (or both if possible).
CAD drawings would help a lot too.
You would really help me.
Thanks in advance,
Boris Barowski

Hi Boris,
I’m a UH-1 fan from way back. Even been in one on an assault exercise when I was in the army (100ft AGL pulling 120 knots through snowy mountains !!).
Anyway, I have quite a few books on the UH-1 and think I have what youre after.
PM me and we can sort out what you need.
Cheers
Chris

Bell textron mailed me to tell me they can not help me
i have to mail AMCOM at redstone, but other people told me i don’t have to expect a reply from them, because they don’t give out technical info. I didn’t get a reply indeed (yet, i hope)
thanks, you have an insiders mail ?
i’ll search tomorrow

Boris,
My I suggest you write the National Air and Space Museum they have many drawings on file plus drop Bell Helicopter a line.
I think they may even have some stuff on their web site.

You could always try the model aircraft magazines/webpages. They may be able to help. For other possible links try this link page
