Hi guys, i normally pay on the door, but this year i want to book in advance for legends. Now, on the TFC website i see you can fill out all the details and pay via PayPal, or you can ring them and use Debit/Credit card booking over the phone.
Has anyone here done either of these methods and if so how was the service and how long did the tickets take to arrive?
I would prefer to do the online method, so if anyone has used this service, i would appreciate any comments.
Thanks in advance guys and gals.
Not long now!!! 😀 😀

Yup, finally got my tickets today. That’s thursday, 1 week and two days after booking them! However, we have had two postmen in the last two weeks. The new guy said there have been a lot of complaints about the previous guy. Oh well, not to worry, i have them now. hmmmmmmmmm 😉

Actually, it is a problme, because you have to buy separate tickets for both days (which means separate booking and postage fees), unless you buy a Gold Pass. I settled for the Sunday – because I work weekends, and its easier to take Sunday off – I don’t work Mon/Tue.
However, I ordered online and got my tickets very quickly.
My guess is that the delivery problem is a Post Office issue (I’m in the know there) – not the booking company.

Yes, but if you’re planning to go both days this is not really a problem….

Also, doesn’t ordering tickets in advance commit you to one day or the other, but never gives you the choice of using them either days?

Run into a bit of a problem…
Last tuesday i spent a large chunk of money online ordering the legends tickets via the IWM website. Great, i thought. First class post, will be here in a few days. Hmmm, now a week later and no sign of them!!!
AAAAAAARRRRGGGHHHH!
Is this normal? i don’t think so. 🙁

Well, i’m planning on going up the friday and camping at Fowlmere. Thus, hopefully being able to get to DX early both mornings for the display. Has anyone ever done this?

…so you are saying that there will be no special entrance for advance ticket holders? I’m a bit worried about that, ’cause I won’t be at Dux before 12ish on Saturday. I’m coming over from Switzerland and cannot leave here on Friday 😡
Guess I have to take one of the smaller roads between Luton and Duxford arfield
See ya in 5 weeks

Wouldn’t be much fun if you had your tickets and it dawned on you that there was still five miles to go and the authorities were turning people away because the site is full…

Chris,
I ordered my tickets on-line from the IWM site and received them within 2 days.
Used it for the first time last year, great service

Chris,
I usually get tickets by mail using the flyer that gets sent out – very quick turnaround and never had a problem.

Chris
On the IWM-Duxford website you can purchase tickets for any D-show online and pay via Credit Card (Visa, Master..). Good service. The tickets arrived in Switzerland about 4 days after the order was made.
