If all aircraft in the flypast are flown by the military, then they can be more certain that nobody on board has any ill intentions.Just a thought…

Yeah. Of course, military aircrew aren’t ever armed and dangerous… I know what you mean, but it doesn’t really make sense! (Like the politicos)

Don’t think so as anyone can spray there aircraft in airforce colors. I would presume it will be civil owned aircraft flown by civilians, but in forces colors.

I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s some sort of security measure. If all aircraft in the flypast are flown by the military, then they can be more certain that nobody on board has any ill intentions.Just a thought…

Can’t they just call it a C47 to get away with it?

This DC3 was in fligh over Normandie during the D-day, unfortunatly this crew can’t fly this week end for the celebration of this great event because Mister Bush don’t want see any civil aircraft over his head during the 60th birthday of the D-day 😡

More fantastic shots – the one of the Connie with the Skyraider in particular.

The Caudron is a little beauty! Is this the one that was built as a replica a few years ago? The French did produce some lovely inter-war fighters.
