Learned this evening that Seafire VP 441 has arrived safely at her new home in Montana. I understand the flight went very well, and that Nelson will spend a few days with the new owner before coming home.
Congratulations to all involved, on both sides of the Atlantic, for an outstanding accomplishment.
I also believe that comments from members of this forum may help secure some display dates for this wonderful aircraft this season (keep your fingers crossed, boys).

No, I don’t believe that Hamilton still has their show. Peter, you out there to confirm that?
But their Firefly does still make a few appearances. Maybe the London Airshow would work (London Ontario that is).
What about Genoseo? Only a short flight from Hamilton.
Having a flypast of Fleet Air Arm aircraft would certainly be pretty special, especially if a Sea Fury was included (in proper paint job of course, as opposed to Reno racing colours!)
A note on the WIX board yesterday seemed to suggest though that the Seafire might not be on show much. Any truth to that, or will some of us get a chance to see her from time to time?

Does Hamilton still have an airshow?
Not as far as I know. Anyone else?

“Bring her to Oshkosh, please”, is what MarkV meant, I think.
Seconded.
Hamilton, Ontario? Alongside a certain Firefly?

Thats great news. Its wonderful that people are preparred to invest their time and money in restoring these aircraft. Its even better when they let them get out and about.
