Thanks Chad. I didn’t know there were so few airworthy examples.
Looking forward to seeing ‘Princess Elizabeth’ when she takes to the air once again. 🙂 😎

Anyone know how may P-51B/C’s are airworthy? They must be quite rare?
The CAF and Weeks airplanes are the only currently airworthy B/C Mustangs I know of for sure. The Muszula two seat replica may or may not have flown by now, I’ve heard rumours both ways. John Paul has one nearly finished as well as the TFC airplane. I’m not aware of any others that could be considered potential flyers in the near future.

A few pics of TFC’s ‘Princess Elizabeth’ to remind us of what we are missing.

I expect there’s a correlation with this thread:

But don’t know for sure, just supposing.

I took a look at the thread just a few hours ago. Didn’t see anything offensive there, so I don’t know why it has been removed. Just a lot of talk about the fact the aircraft should be called a P51B instead of a P51C, etc., and its original provenance. And a few nice pictures of the plane too. Can anyone enlighten us as to why the thread has disappeared please?

Yes there was – something about a Mustang AIR.
