While we’re on the subject of Cosford and Typhoons,I was wondering what plans there are for the EAP experimental aircraft that’s currently used as a training aid at Loughborough?Being in effect a Eurofighter/Typhoon prototype it’s surely worthy of preservation, and what’s more it would fit in beautifully with the collection of experimental machines at Cosford.Has anyone heard any rumours regarding its future??

I certainly hope we’ll be saying “They don’t make them like they used to”! I hope we’ll have improved a bit by then. That said, I wouldn’t hold my breath that it will have even entered service by then! 😉

…But in fifty years time we’ll be getting misty eyed and posting pictures of said aircraft on this forum. 😮
…And, saying, “pah, they don’t make ’em like they used to!” 😉
Regards,
Paul

Thought you meant going into the museum, which I rather assumed to be the best place for it.

Wrong forum.
Had it been an historicTyphoon we would have got excited. As it is I don’t think you’ll find many of us jumping up and down 🙁
