Please see hereunder a Boomerang shot of several airframes being scrapped during / after the war in the South Pacific.
Can anybody place the location – it might be worth following up

Setter I can’t help with the location but I do have a question… Do you know what the small “X” in the code of the central aircraft is all about? It appears to be the only one with a second letter in the code.
