While out walking along the Tarka Trail near a place called Bideford, north Devon I came across this memorial. Does anyone have any information on the incident, as Iām curious as to what/how it happened?
Thanks, Plazz

It was the other way from Instow, past Bideford railway station but before the viaduct which crosses the river.
Anyone know were the Wellington took off from?
