More precisely, who are SOME of these guys? I know which ones are Johnny Johnson, Gunther Rall, Bill Reid and Bud Mahurin, and I believe the other one is John Cruickshank…anyone care to fill this ignorant Yank in on their achievements? Taken at DX in 2001…

On the left is Sqn Ldr J Danforth Browne and in the middle is Colonel Walker M ‘Bud’ Mahurin if my memory serves me right.

Johnny Johnson is the leading RAF Ace from WWII
Gunther Rall is the Leading Ace in the world still alive and third leading ace ever. Would have been part of the 300 club if not for an injury in combat.
The other three someone else will have to fill in.
