Tigers and Harvards – The Airshow Stalwarts

While you lucky people in the UK and the USA are usually treated to loads of fantastic fighters and bombers at airshows, here in New Zealand up till the 1990’s the stalwarts of any airshow were the ex-RNZAF Tiger Moths and Harvards. I thought I’d put a few pics up from various airshows over the years.

First up, the Roaring Forties Harvard team from Ardmore.

You must be going to the wrong shows 😉

There was a 2 ship at Bent waters and Little Grandsden, a 3 ship at Old Buck last year and a 5 ship formation at Woodchurch as well as a number of solo Harvard displays at venues such as Seething and Marham last year.

Fantastic.

The harvard team must have been a fantastic sound…

You’d have loved the Diamond Nine team we had over hear a few years ago. Fantastic displays by the 9 Tiger Moths.

Thanks for sharing the pictures once again
