On march 2nd, Bucker Jungmeister made its last flight in Belgium as OO-EII. The Bucker is part of The Flying Legends Collection Based at Kortrijk-Wevelgem (EBKT). The Jungmeister will join Focke Wulf 44 Stieglitz G-STIG (ex OO-JKT) which was also part of The Flying Legends until the end of 2003 (see current Flypast issue). The team told me today that this plane is sold to Glenn Lacey in the UK. The departure to the UK is expected to take place in the next weeks. The Bucker was built in Germany in 1936 an has SN 051.

The Stearman was less fortunate and had a broken battery. They couldn’t get it started.
