I dont have an actual position for the crash site itself.
The plaque is situated on what is known locally as “The lady’s mile” which in fact is the original lawn of nearby Stansted House.
The plaque is right at the opposite end of the “lawn” which always made me wonder if the pilot may have tried to attempt a landing (the lawn is over a mile long and approx 100 meters wide).
If you search on google earth against postcode PO9 6DX then pan West a bit, you will see the lady’s mile . The plaque is at the Rowlands Castle end.
Stansted house is listed as Hampshire.
