Hurri – when? Where? Who? Why? Which?

Just a little quiz – furiously scanning away I did this one which is not so old as the rest. Answers on a postcard please!

(Bear in mind I only know the answer to who!!!)

I uninstalled Photoshop 8 – didn’t like it at all. You should see the state of these copynegs – absolute ****, and damaged badly too.

On the 15th May 1978, LWF ‘Pinkie’ Stark became the Airport manager at Rochester Airport, retiring on 31st March 1987.

That’s Pinkie, so I would say Rochester is most likely.

How about LF751 being unveiled at either Rochester or Manston after being restored and painted up as BN230/FT-A of 43 sqn? Date 1995/early 1996?

Unless another Hurricane has been painted in those markings, apart from the original of course.

Geoff.
