A bit late this, but I have only just got around to watching the programe. Fascinating stuff. Couldn’t get over the fact that Billy was actualy standing there while they excavated his Hurricane.
Does anyone know what is going to happen with the recovered bits?

The Stuka in the woods was the second expedition to France. Eagle eyed ‘Bruce’ spotted me pouring the local Champagne at the mayor’s reception.
This was Steve Vizard’s show, I was there for a bit of fun and support photography. 🙂

Trumper, there is no doubt that the graphics are better in IL2:FB. Warbirds strength is that you can have so many people ‘flying’ in the same arena at the same time. IL2 is limited to 32 players at the most? Which means you can only have 16 per side. Different sims with different priorities I guess.

😀 OK i admit it,i wedged the beer cans against the control column and shoved the chewing gum and pipe baccy in the throttle quadrant. and hung the box brownie out of the cockpit:)
Just a shame i cant pick up a decent radio station:)

In my day we didn’t have autopilots, just a lump of chewy on the windscreen to aim the brownings and an AA handbook to nav you home to base, beer and popsies.

😀 Actually the icons were off,The blue writing you can see is the Auto pilot on,which i used so i could look at my Hurricane in External view;)
