Does anyone have any images of Whirlwind HAR.10, XP399 while in service. It is currently in the beer-garden of ‘The Wheatsheaf’ pub, at Rettendon,Essex. The first image below is as it was not long after being installed, it deffinately looks rough now. The second image was taken when it was in a field adjacent to the ‘Turnpike’ Rettendon.

Anybody got a spare lorry or two ??? , I have plenty space for her up here – otherwise it doesn’t look like long before they call in the scrapman .:(

put xp399 into google and came up with ‘nowt else than a few snaps on airliners.net , one whilst in service and several in the state she is in now.
