Hi
It seems that the last of the South Africa lightnings is about to fly once again.
The lightning in question is XP693 another F6
Expect more news on this over the next couple of weeks.

Hi Andrewman
Has your source got any recent pics we can all see.
My F.3 is making slow but steady progress should soon be removing the front end.

Hi scott c
I got the info from a M8 who has plenty of involvement with these sort of things down in South Africa.
Also how is your F3 going M8 ?
Also the Saudis have restored a Lightning to full static running condition and it would take only a small amount of work to fly it again.

I believe its still single seat M8
They are going to do a few other projects down at thunder city
Their next big project is rumored to be either an F4 phantom or one of the S50 Bucc’s.
Also they are looking into getting a T2 Jaguar in a couple of years.
Also the Airworthy Shack may be kept in taxing condition their when it finally stops flying.

GOOD NEWS:D 😎 😀
Has it had all the in service mods done to it?
There was talk at one point of putting a twin stick nose on it has this been done or is it still single stick?
