Accomodation – Duxford/Cambridgeshire area

I posted something about this before, but it was a heck of a long time ago and can’t look it up at work, so I’ll repost it.

Can anyone recommend a good hotel/guest house/B&B in the area? My other half and I are planning on hitting Flying Legends this year (at the expense of missing out on Festival of Flight at East Fortune! :() and are looking to get somewhere fairly close by.

Also, what kind of transport is available (public-wise)??

TIA

Somebody recommended http://www.arisinn.co.uk/ for me last year. Sounds a good idea, (it was just a pub when I lived around there), but if Daz is planning on using public transport I don’t expect the bus service to be very frequent.

Too late for the Red Lion. There is a Travelodge 3 miles away.

DazDaMan

The Duxford Lodge hotel in Duxford village is very nice.
You can just book B&B and eat in one of the village pubs in the evening as my wife and myself did a few years back as it can be a bit pricey to eat in the actual hotel.
They even have an aviation themed bar.
