“PAF is being prepared by HARS to ferry to Albion Park for a future life in the HARS fleet.

The missing outer wing arrived at IRA last week for a centre spar repair in the HARS workshop.

Hopefully airborne early next year giving HARS a Connie,a C54, 2 x C47, 2x Neptune, a GrummanTracker, a Catalina and a Convair 340 by next year.

Along with the DC3/C47, the DC4/C54 is probably the most historic type in the country, having been operated in Australia by the USAF,ANA, Ansett,TAA, Qantas, BCPA, Air Express and PAF in Australia from 1942 to 2002.
So a very fitting aircraft to be preserved and join the airshow circuit. The big question is what colours will HARS paint her?”

Filled the space faster than I thought, but keep watching! 😀

G’day 😉
