While we’re on the subject, has anyone got the Corgi Spitfire Mk1a (1/72 scale) in the markings of Brian Carbury?
I’ve got one that’s looking a bit worse for wear, so wondered if anyone else had one they wouldn’t mind parting with for a nominal fee.

As DazDaMan has sais it is the one from that magazine but they are available to buy on their own from places like ebay. I believe it is a Mk3 Meteor. The codes on the side are YQ-Q.

There’s a Meteor model on the front of that collectable magazine doing the rounds just now – looks quite similar. From what I recall it has a blown canopy.

It looks like a Meteor I or III.My guess would be the 1:72 kit from Airfix,or perhaps a Corgi model?

Definitely a Meteor, but I can’t tell whether it has the early framed canopy or the blown canopy of the later versions.
