Gutersloh and other BFG sites with WWII history.

Does anybody have any information regarding 17 Base Vehicle Depot, Ayrshire Barracks, Monchengladbach which was reputedly a Luftwaffe station before and during WWII. (I lived nearby when I was a kid.) Unfortuantely the only information I can gleen from trawling the net is that it was called Lufthorst Neersen/Wickrath.

Any one have any suggestions or info?
