When and where is the first show in 2004 likely to be? I dont want to keep taking pictures of homogeneous grey lumps in Plymouth Sound for too long. I’m already getting the jitters.

Did the Southend show last year and was well impressed. I dread to think how much that cost to put on but I’m hoping to be able to attend this year as well.

No need to wait there is a fly-in on at Popham tomorrow, no heavy metal but could be some nice vintage. Thats if the weather clears up, and the airfield has not sunk in the mud!!
Happy new year to you all, im off to the pub shortly that overlooks a Lightning, two Hunters and various noses( and a Mig 21 arriving on Friday). What a way to see in 2004 in the home of British aviation.

Might have to start saving my pennies for a trip to South Africa next November, I understand they have a big show around that time.
Anybody interested in making up the numbers to try and keep the costs down?

There must be something on before May – what about The Continent?
Easy access to France from here!

Hummmm – there’s also a 6th June D-Day event on Plymouth Hoe. Not sure what the details are yet though, I would expect a joint Naval-Marines/Army/Airforce display of some kind. Will see what I can find.
I hate Winter/Cold-Wet weather – always have done, always will!

Thanks for the link F4. 😎 You might want to add the Great Vintage Flying Weekend which is being held at Abingdon from the 14th to the 16th of May-just two weeks after the Abingdon Fayre! 🙂

Sorry, I forgot about that. Oh well I shall just have to visit somewhere else before that – hopefully OW will have something on before June.
