The one at Newark is also in good condition.
The one in South Africa might end up at Thunder City on static display.
I have not seen the one at Manchester does anyone have a photo ?

My UK-vote goes to the RAFM’s AEW.2 which is on loan to the Museum of Science and Industry in Manchester. She’s absolutely immaculate and looks as though she was retired yesterday.I’ll stick my neck out and say she’s probably in better nick than any of the other surviving Mk.2’s (even the flier).
My overall vote goes to 1722 in SA,although who can say what the future holds for her.

Hi
The one at Duxford is an absolute disgrace.
However the best ones are the 2 that are still flying however the best one in the UK is the one at Coventry and it should be taxing soon.
The 2 at Gatwick Air Museum are both in good condition and one of them can still be run up.

Certainly not the Duxford one. I had a good look at her a couple of months ago and wasn’t at all impressed. Rather than hijack a thread about the best Shack, I’ll start another one and stick the photos up…

Probably the airworthy ones (US & South Africa)
