Hi Damien
A camera would have been good. I doubt I’ll ever see the Reds from that angle again.
The 100 ( or loo:D ) in the sky wasn’t bad for a first time effort and I certainly enjoyed being in the Extra while Denny performed the 100.

Denny Dobson I would imagine. Either that or Mark Jefferies, he goes up and practices just to the north of St Neots a lot.

The Reds came over StNeots in Cambs at about 1440hrs in a seven-ship,vics of three and four, very low and fast looking like OW bound…….and then a bright yellow “thingy” ie no guns=no interest, performed a nearly faultless “100” in smoke.A colleague was heard to say”what does loo mean?”………………………………..
Anyone know the identity of the Yellow Baron?

The Reds flew through Little Staughton, 9 miles away from OW.
A solo Hawk managed to get through though.

My recollection of the Notam is that the Red Arrows were due to enter Luton Zone via Pirton at around 14.25, overfly Harpenden, down to Hendon across to Alexandra Palace and then due north up the Stansted-Luton gap (virtually over my house). I was flying, but understand that they overflew Buntingford on the return at about 1435.

There was no sign of them at Old Warden unfortunately, although apparently they were heard on frequency somewhere close. Presumably they were unhappy about coming through with the amount of movements GA that had been going on?

It’s Hendon’s big day, Prince Philip was there. (Now, there’s someone who SHOULD be stuck on a perch!)

Red arrows pilots are yet to reach my standard.

Oh well no worries. It’s not as if I had to walk far, and it was in work’s time.;)

I phoned Scampton this morning, and the girl said 14.30 along the Thames.
We won’t have this sort of problem when a Vulcan is flying!

The flypast was for the RAF Museum at Hendon, don’t think the Thames was ever on the route.
