Two minutes

At 11.00 today, my employer (Legal and General) marked the two minutes with a bugler playing the last post in the main atrium of the building, the sound relayed thoughout over the PA. It was superbly played and very moving to see and hear.

Good for them.

I was riding around in my truck at work yesterday morning when we passed a school, and all the kids were outside holding up their own hand drawn ‘Thank You’ signs for all the veterans, and towards the end of the block there was the school band playing patriotic songs while kids nearby waved flags….VERY cool, nothing I’d seen before matched it….the vets had to have loved it, I know I did (ex Coast Guard)….later in the day we got buzzed by two Colorado ANG F-16’s that flew right over the Memorial to the Wars here in Greeley….

Was in Yeovil town centre and at 1101 a BT van drove past with music blaring.
He did eventually stop and cut his engine about ten seconds later.

Top marks to L&G. If there’s a choice they’d get my business every time from now.
