Elstree 15/4/49

G-AGXT- This is the aircraft that Brian Donald Hume used to dispose of the body of Stanley Selty, the murdered London car dealer in the sea on 6/10/49. I wonder if the current owner knows of this?

David,

Many thanks for the info. I wonder what happened to the Proctor in Australia, & if it’s still around?

Geoff.

Auster J.1/N G-AGXT crashed at Bickmarsh in the late 1960’s and ended up being scrapped.

Auster V G-AKOW is on display at the Museum of Army Flying
as TJ569.

G-AELO, ex AW118, still current I believe? I’ve just noticed what appears to be a section of fuselage in the background. Any ideas?
