Der – could you e-mail me and I’ll get back to you? It says you’re set up to not receive private messages 🙁

I got a Cambrian Mustang painted up as OFMC Ferocious Frankie, flys like a dream! Quite easy to build and finish also. All i had was an OS40FP so i bunged it in! The beauty is you can fly it on a scale sized prop (ok the torgue can be daunting – but scale!)
It flies around happily on about third throttle and looks real. I’ll try and post a pic up.
That is a very convincing Spitfire, looking forward to flying my 1/6th scale one soon 😀 😉 😀

Nah-all you do is take the battery out, put it back in the wrong place, muck up the centre of gravity, and there you have it. a homesick mole with invasion stripes!
Daz-thanks for the offer. Better not take it up right now as Ive got 4 biplanes needing completed first. Are these the Cambrian Funfighters for 25 engine? What are you looking for them?
By: David Burke - 17th September 2003 at 21:49
Do they make scale replica 88′ milimeter cannon so these can be shot down ???
By: DazDaMan - 17th September 2003 at 21:49
Der – I’ve got a couple of 1/10 Spitfire projects for sale, if you’re interested.
One’s 90-95% finished, the other about 45%

Looks better than my 1/8th scale Cambrian Mk9 which piled in vertically last week.

Umm… if I remember correctly, the Spitfire was in the new releases section of last month’s RCM&E magazine.
If I remember I’ll look up – I think they were available via Ripmax but I could be wrong.

The livery and armament displacement do not match anything I recognise in the US or elsewhere.
I am going to stick my neck out and say (at this stage) scale replica or large and excellent model.
There is a mysterious ‘lump’ behind the the radio mast in one view and the four blade prop blur…….well something about it.
UN Code….. not Spitfire.

Oh well it was worth a try, not a great Spitfire expert personally :p I also managed to totally miss the first pic that clearly shows it as a high back aircraft.

OK here’s where the fun begins. I thought all Mk XVIs had broad chord fin and rudder, the one is question has the original narrow chord version
