No it would be Penelope, not Nicole. Judging on the films I’ve seen of her recently she is guaranteed to get them out as well.;) 😉 😉 🙂

Hurricanes did shoot down more Germans than the Spit in the BoB but not WW2. Although I think that is what you meant.

Haha. Nice one Ian. Shorty Keough would be most agreeable!

If this new movie doesn’t have Hurricanes in it I’ll be really pissed off.I’m sick and tired of the Hurricane not getting the credit it deserves.
It’s doing a great disservice to those who designed her, flew her, and worked on her during WWII.
The same would apply to a few other WWII planes, but I’ll leave that for another day….
They had BETTER have some Hurricanes in this movie.
I can not believe that I am going to say this…… I totally agree with yankie.

HAC & 597 were involved with Pearl Habour along with TFC if I remember right, Charlie Brown also became an adviser on the flight scenes!!!!
If they want to do it right then as you say it should be Hurricanes, there are a few about to day that could be used to make up a flight. But again as you say ‘Spitfire snobbery” will take over.
Knowing that Tom C lacks height may be he should be recast as Vernon ‘Shorty’ Keough from 609 Sqn, see the BoB Americans in the RAF on Historic Aviation Forum.
