I echo what Alan has stated in his previous thread, I was pleasently surprised to see that there was a half decent turn out of stalls considering it was a first time event. Great location overlooking the airfield.

Some idea’s maybe for next year, I believe that there is a WWII aviation museum at the aerodrome run by the East Surrey Aviation Group? Don’t know if this was open but may have been good for them to have had the museum open on this day, this would been an added attraction for the punters and extra addmission fee’s for the museum (Forgive me if it was open but I didn’t see any signs!) Also I believe that they have a static Dove at the aerodrome, again would be nice (if possible) to see this aircraft towed around to the event and maybe opened for inspection.

The aerodrome has a very good cafe, there didn’t seem to be any easy access to this. Would have murdered a good breakfast and didn’t fancy the breakfast been cooked by the local ATC!

This is not any criticism of the event, I really enjoyed it and will attend next year, only expressing some idea’s to get the event up and running to make it a regular thing. Thankyou to the organisers for having the courage to organise an aerojumble in this current diminishing climate, again long may it continue.
