Does anyone no the serial numbers of the Portuguese Hurricanes used in the Film. Where did they go after the film.
Also, over the years many books have suggested Hurricane LF363 was in the film but I can’t find any proof of this.
I know PZ865, P2617 and L1592 were all involved in the production.
I would appreciate any help with this.

According to the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight website (at www.raf.mod.uk/bbmf/bbmfhome.html), LF363 did indeed appear in ‘Angels One Five’. If you contact them, they may be able to give you more details.
Re the Portugese Hurricanes, is there not a Portugese Air Force Museum you could try for information? It seems that there were five such Hurricanes used, and I would assume that they went back to Portugal, where they were still in use by their air force.

A close study of the ‘Angels’ footage shows there was a lone Spitfire parked in the background in one scene. Any ideas on location and serial?

Me 110 in ‘Angels One Five’
The book ‘War prizes’ by Phil Butler (Midland Counties Publications) states that the Me 110 used in ‘Angels One Five’ was Me 110G Werk Nr 180850. It was one of four German aircraft brought to this country for museum display. Two survive, one was ‘lost’ and this Me 110 was scrapped after use in the film. There is a photo of the Me110 in ‘War Prizes’ though it isn’t great.

This doesn’t tell you all you need to know but is a useful site none the less. Apparently according to here the 110 was he real thing and came from a scrapyard, presumably it went back there after filming.

To add another queery about Angels One-Five,does anyone know where the Bf110 in the film came from or where it ended up?? If it was a specially built prop for the film,it was a bloody good effort, but I suspect it was the genuine article.
