The Lanc was at Duxford for the Duxford Flying Proms. She displayed to the Dambuster’s March and then departed back to base.

I am quite lucky here just outside Ware, Herts. In between the flightpaths of both Stansted & Luton.
Most of the time all and sundry fly right over the house missing the airliners. I saw the Lanc fly over yesterday on its own for a change and the weather was not that good then.
Does anyone know what significance Duxford or Worthing was, a flypast or a show? If it did not get back to base until 21.00hrs it must have made a landing somewhere in between the rain surely.
Can anyone throw any light?

And it landed “home” just a few minutes short of 9pm……up this way it was getting quite dark by then……

According to the BBMF website the Lanc was due to appear at Duxford and Worthing on Saturday.
