Yak pics.

Took these at Biggin Hill this year. Nice aircraft, and it put on a good display too.

I think it’s a problem of the CAA not allowing the new builds onto the G-Register.

Take a look at this link to Yak UK, which has a Yak 3 for sale, to see an explanation:

Also follow the link for some tasty pics in the gallery.

Here’s Maxi Gainza’s Yak 11 at North Weald on Saturday afternoon. It was also flying again on Monday.

He’s looking for a new spinner at the moment, if anyone knows of one…

G-OYAK got sold as G-IYAK was about 70% rebuilt, even then up until recently G-IYAK had only done test hours and was hangered whilst looking for a new owner. However G-IYAK has recently been sold so hopefully will get seen, and G-OYAK but on a great pairs display with Rob Davies in G-YCII at Old Buckenham last month.

A330, splendid stuff, not sure about that black thing though, but the white one is wonderful, that paint job is doing well seeing as it’s been on there for over 12 years. Had a great deal of fun with that machine, shame it never got to operate as a pair with this one, as was the plan at one point.

And finally the Yak52 of the Norbert Group. Not keen on those colours… reminds me of a taxi.
