You’ll find that it’s not listed as a ‘P’ but as a ‘U’ model, it was only when it arrived at Booker that we deduced that it was in fact a completely different model, the ‘U’ having some surfaces skinned in Ply and the ‘P’ being built for longevity in the postwar years as opposed to the mass numbers/short life thinking behind the WWII production of the ‘U’ model so it used an all metal construction to stave off the woodworm 😉
