Flying Legends. (Sunday)

I think we’re going to make it this year.
Don’t usually ‘cos it’s a couple of hours or so from here and I’m not the worlds earliest riser. I also object to traffic jams.

We’re skipping Waddington to go to a party (5 miles from Duxford) so Legends will be a superior replacement. Means we’ll actually watch the displays.

With 2 day events we invariably go Saturdays and recover Sundays. It’s advanced age that makes it necessary.:)

Depending on the severity of my hangover on 29/6, I might call in before coming home. Anybody likely to be about?

The Yak 1 won’t be there, unless someone is building another somewhere. Looking at it on Friday there still seems to be a lot left to do.

which day is better for legends? i usually go on the saturday? but ive missed some displays. I havent been in 2 years, but when i was there the Yak-9 didnt display, and it did on the sunday? any thoughts on which day?

i will hopefully be there this year, but i think next year will be a better show? yak-1? Tempest 2? fw190?

is the p-38 going to be there?
