Hi Guys.
I thought that might get your interest so here you are have a look for yourself.
Sorry to dissapoint you but it is a model. Flies like the real thing and flow by a guy who had or has 2 b17’s at 18 feet wingspan. I dont know if he still has them but this model is a real corker.
Set your eyes on this then.

I’ve got pics of a similarly impressive model Victor also powered by a pair og jets.
The only thing that made it look like a model in the air was how it was being caught by gusts.

Hi dhfan
sounds like the same one. Ever heard of the name Dave Johnson. I am pretty sure it him who flies it. Although his 2 sons are passed to fly it he wont let them fly at airshows.
See other pics from the show here.

Don’t know if it’s the same one, but one’s recently undergone flght testing at RR Hucknall. Nothing to do with RR, just used their runway.
18 foot span, weighs 120 lbs and has 2 gas turbines.
Unfortunately, I didn’t see it.

In the hangar.
Just another little picture. This time in the hangar with assorted items around for scale.
All taken at the Scottish model airshow in May. At Glenrothes airfield. (Fife Airport)
Hope you enjoyed the photos.
