Two Belgian Biplanes, pre-war, smashed up after a taxying (?) accident. Any or all info would be great – I know nothing. Only clue I have is that it has come via Roger Malengreau.
Have fun!

Looks like pre-war cyclists were no better than their present day counterparts!:p Give ’em a hugh field & they can still cause mayhem!!!

Being one who always studies pictures closely and tries to imagine what happened, I have this wonderful mental picture of some hapless airman pedalling that bike furiously across the rough airfield to render assistance, legs going like pistons.
Alternatively, did one of the aircraft swerve to avoid a careless cyclist with his mind on the coming evening’s visit to a girl in town?

Totally exact Galdri. They flew till 1938, and were replaced by Fairey Fox

I’m a little late in responding to this but here goes!
I know nothing of the incident it self, but the aircraft involved are Breguet 19 B2’s. These were designed as light bombers and first flew in 1921. Belgium purchased six of these aircraft in 1924 and later started licence production by the SABCA Company. Deliveries to the Belgian Air Force totalled 146 between 1926 and 1930.
Hope this helps
