Does anyone know why the lanc didnt show 2day

Same problem at Breighton. I was hoping to see the Hurricane and the Magister in the air but with a 90º crosswind I don’t blame them for staying safe.

That’s PA47 4, of course!

Lots of people just don’t get it that it can be very dangerous to operate a large tail wheel aircraft like a Lanc, at light loads, with a high crosswind-you’re just asking for the beautiful, precious aircraft to go sideways across the runway and leave it’s undercarriage in the grass somewhere. PA474 has already had a few dodgy landings in her time, so in my opinion, if it’s too windy, then she can always fly another day. πŸ™‚

The wind was out of the lancs crosswind limit at Conningsby.
