For us UK views at 8pm GMT Tue 25th Mar on Channel 5 there is a documentry on the Dambusters.
Here is the blurb from the online Radio Times :
Documentary about the 1943 bombing raid which knocked out two massive dams in the heart of industrial Germany and was later immortalised in the 1954 film starring Michael Redgrave. Featuring the testimonies of some of the airmen who took part in the raid and contributions from the son of Barnes Wallis, whose bouncing bomb made the raid possible.

Watch out for Channel 4 8pm April 20 & April 21 – Two part documentary on the Dambusters. This coincides with the new book by Dr John Sweetman

Ive not heard anything about this but the word “test” is intriguing. Wonder what form these tests are going to take.

Great, thanks, I missed this one first time around.
Apparently Discovery are doing a documentary this year where they attempt to rebuild and test the dams bouncing bomb, anyone know anything about this one?
