Got some pictures of US aircraft in New Guinea in 1944.

I have no idea of its history, group, pilot, etc.
Caption on back includes, “This plane not only looks like it’ll bite but actually does.” Names mentioned are Merritt Gregory and Leonard Robinson… not sure if these are aircrew…

Dont recall seeing too many shark mouths pointing down at the end as pronounced as that !
