Propeller photos or clip art.

Hi people,

I have for some time now been looking for a new logo for our new website and group.

http://www.acia.co.uk

I have been given the task of trying to come up with a new logo.

As we are an Aviation archaeology group my idea is to have a 4 bladed bent prop with either the full name round the outside of it or the initials in between the segments of prop.

Now here comes my problem or proplem as it may well be.

I have search the net for ages trying to find a decent straight on prop photo but can find one. I think at the moment I would even settle for a prop with no damage.

Can anyone help either with the design or even a picture or clipart of a bent or good prop.

If anyone wants to have a go at the design I dont mind just get the details at the website. Also the writing is going to be red.

If you have the kind of pics I am looking for please post a reply here.

thanks

8?

Hi Geedee,

Those are the type of pics that i’d thought i’d taken but can’t find. They must be in the ‘to be scanned’ backlog.

Best other pic i can find is: (Just so happens to be another Spitfire)

And finally…

The original piccies are miles better than these poxy scans. I’m hoping for a better scanner for me b’day in a few days time. If I get one, I’ll redo th T’bolt and Cobra piccies.

Still 3 Bladed….

Hi,

Your post made me remember to register rather than just read – so Hello!

Anyways, thought i had a 4 bladed (or even 5) pic but they are all at an angle of sorts and not head on. This is the best i have but is only 3 Bladed i’m afraid. I’ll keep looking though.

Cheers.

Hi Zippo,

I was actually looking for a four bladed prop but I still might use your one.

Thanks for the reply.

Looks awfully Baltimore-ish 😀 😀

The Baltimore sure has a solid supporter 😉
